BLACKBERRY BOLD 9000

the specification of one of the BlackBerry 9000 smartphones. The BlackBerry 9000 will be powered by an Intel XScale PXA270 624MHz processor, or ARM 1173 620MHz processor, 1GB internal memory, a 480×320 or 320×480 display.
It will be a 3GB phone with HSDPA and supports WiFi and GPS connectivity. A 2 or 3.2 Megapixel will also come with the new BlackBerry.

Moreover, the Bold 9000 is hardly a groundbreaking device outside the BlackBerry world but to Berry buffs it may be about as good as a mobile phone gets. Sporting flawless connectivity, a magnificent screen and one of the most comfortable QWERTY keyboards we have seen, the Bold 9000 is at the very least a great business gadget. Well then, it's business as usual on our end too so the BlackBerry Bold better get ready for one of our out-and-out reviews.

As we mentioned, the BlackBerry Bold 9000 doesn't pack ridiculously high-end multimedia or other fancy gimmicks to make a big splash outside the BlackBerry realm. Yet it does combine all the features that the brand loyals were dreaming to see on a RIM handset for quite a while.
GPS and Wi-Fi rarely coexist on BlackBerry handsets but the Bold is not the first ever anyway. The screen is not the greatest feat in terms of resolution either but it sure is a sight to savor. That Berries have always been among the standard-setters in QWERTY keyboards goes without saying.

Battery backup of the BlackBerry 8310 is 408 from the standby and 4 hours of talk time.

The biggest difference between the original Curve and the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8310 is the addition of GPS. With this feature, you can use Curve as a handheld navigation device with the addition of location-based services (LBS) or navigation software, like Google Maps for Mobile. LBS at AT & T offers TeleNav GPS Navigator itself is called, which includes color maps and text-and voice-guided driving directions, and local search. You can find out more about-on service in our full review of TeleNav, add, and realized that the service costs $ 9.99 per month for unlimited trips or $ 5.99 up to 10 trips. Check the Performance section to see how the Curve fared as a navigator.

Other wireless radios on the Curve 8310 include Bluetooth and EDGE. Bluetooth allows you to connect to wireless headsets, Bluetooth stereo headsets and hands-free kit. In addition, there is support for object exchange and dial-up networking so you can use the device as a wireless modem for your laptop. Unlike the T-Mobile's Curve, however, this version does not have integrated Wi-Fi, so you have to surf the Web via AT & T's EDGE network. As we have said many times before, we know EDGE is not slow, but after using other 3G-enabled phones, the EDGE data transfer speeds tested our patience a little.

BLACKBERRY JAVELIN 8900

The alpha version of the Blackberry client was upgraded to 0.0.10. With this release comes alpha support for Blackberry Javelin 8900 and BlackBerry OS 4.3. This release also contains quality, performance improvements and numerous bug fixes including carrying over Privacy setting from one session to another.

It was back in early May when the "Javelin" codename for RIM's next generation, full-QWERTY, 3G-less BlackBerry surfaced online and mid-June when the first in the wild images and brief video emerged. The device was originally tagged as the 9300 but in recent weeks switched to the 8900 model number, just as the 9100 KickStart became known as the 8220 Pearl, leaving the BlackBerry Bold 9000 at the top of the non-touchscreen BlackBerry chain. While the device looked sweet in the early images, it wasn't until we leaked these images that there was really quasi-official proof of what the new BlackBerry 8900 was going to pack come its eventual release

The shape and styling of the BlackBerry 8900 is definitely an evolution and tribute to the existing Curve form factor, but in my opinion feels and looks even better than the 83xx series with much improved specs. It's faster, has a better display, more memory and has WiFi and GPS in one (none of this 8310/8320 compromise stuff). If only it had 3G, the decision between the Bold and the Javelin would be relatively easy. Specs and looks aside, the 8900 is simply the device I'd rather carry with me and hold and use all day based on size and feel. It fits me. That doesn't mean it's a better device than the Bold, far from it, but simply that both are pretty awesome and personal preference and requirements (do you need 3G?) are going to dictate which device you immediately gravitate towards.

BLACKBERRY PEARL 8120

The RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8120 for AT&T brings Wi-Fi to the slim smartphone, along with an improved Web browser and a 2-megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. The handset also has integrated Bluetooth, strong e-mail capabilities, and solid multimedia features. A year and a half is a small eternity in the world of technology, and so the Pearl has undergone a transformation to the new 3.2 ounce Pearl 8120, currently offered by AT&T Wireless and T-Mobile in the US. Perhaps the most noted addition is WiFi, and T-Mobile puts it to good use with their Hotspot @ Home WiFi calling service. The T-Mobile version has UMA (conceptually similar to VoIP calling), while WiFi is used only for data services on the AT&T version. And there are plenty of other tweaks that make the 8120 (think of it as Pearl 2.0) a better and more fun phone. The SureType keyboard layout remains the same: most keys are home to 2 letters and a number or symbol. This is not a full QWERTY keyboard, but as with the original Pearl, those who made do with T9 on a numeric keypad will find the 8120 a vast improvement. RIM, makers of the BlackBerry line, have improved SureType's predictive text methods and indeed it works even better than the original model (which was by no means poor). There's also multi-press for those times you're entering unpredictable text such as a URL or password. Though pretty and shiny, the keys are a bit slippery, making it hard to breeze through text entry. Keys that house numbers are silver and you can use the Alt key to switch to numeric input, though the 'Berry automatically does this for numeric fields such as phone numbers and zip codes. The Symbol key brings up a symbol picker and there's a single shift key, delete key and enter/carriage return key. The keyboard is backlit in white and is fairly readable in the dark.

NOKIA X2 REVIEW
Nokia’s X series –the X3 and X6 and surely what we can expect upcoming X series handsets that seemingly in time with unofficial Nokia X2. In a report by NokiaPort “the Indonesian equivalent of the FCC has approved the Nokia X2, confirming its existence.” Details like quad-band GSM connectivity and Bluetooth also span on the post. Looking closely at the naming convention, X2 suggest low-end handset and obviously cheap favoring the masses. The official announcement from Nokia to show off X2 is still missing for now, but talking about another X-series handset come the interesting mock-up for Nokia X9, which seems quite believable. If this concept will run true, it will be based on X6 and should come with an AMOLED touchscreen display, 12MP camera with HD video recording, HDMI port, and dedicated Facebook and Twitter keys.

NOKIA 6208c

Nokia 6208c is a stylishly crafted device that integrates touchscreen technology with an elegant look and competent features. While it’s still not available in markets much beyond China and territories around it, the stylish stylus that it sports is something that has become a talking point among mobile lovers across the globe. So what if you think it looks like a bottle opener, it’s still innovative and unique. Carrying an excellent 3.2 megapixel camera with a 4x digital zoom and a microSD slot for expanding storage, the details are far and few on this for now. But it won’t be much longer before we get a complete taste of the 6208c.Nokia 6208c is inspired from the 6708, the first touchscreen phone with a built-in keypad. And now the handset has been displayed on the Chinese site of Nokia. It will sport Nokia’s S40 OS and it will have both the full alphanumeric keypad and a 2.4 inch touschreen display. We don’t know if it’s a capacitive or resistive screen but the stylus present will suggest it’s a resistive one. Other specs include tri-band EGSM 900/1800/1900, Bluetooth 2.0, support for tethering, a 3.2 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom and dual-LED flash and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will be available in Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, India, the Middle East and North Africa but the price hasn’t been revealed yet. The first thing to mansion is that Nokia's corporate design didn't go far away, so Nokia is easily recognized in the 6208c model. When I saw it for the fist time, 6300 communicator has come to my mind, but obviously, 6208c takes the 6708's way, which is also a classic form factor touchscreen released in 2006. Secondly, 6208c is all about little creative differences in design. For instance, I can not bypass its stylus. This is the most interesting stylus by design ever I believe. However, I don't like calling it weird or strange because Nokia would not place a poorly though out product under world's consideration, and who knows, may be it turns out to be so comfortable to use, that you wouldn't like to change it. Anyway the idea was to make it look like bamboo slips. Not an ordinary design of course, hence questionable, so let's move to unquestionable pluses. One of those is Chinese hieroglyph recognition, write it down on the notepad and the phone will find the most appropriate hieroglyph in its library. Very good, but Nokia is not the first to have this sort of thing, iPhone also has this feature. Nokia 6208c

The 2690 isn’t quite the cheapest phone in the world (that honour goes to the Nokia 1280) the price just 54 Euros it is one of the most affordable to offer web and email access, media player and full GSM phone service. BLACKBERRY STORM 9500

RIM’s BlackBerry Storm, the first touchscreen Blackberry, is now officially announced and will be available from Verizon and Vodafone next month. The Blackberry Storm supports EV-DO Rev.A, HSDPA 2100MHz and quad-band EDGE, which allows users to travel around the world using the same Storm. The BlackBerry features a 3.26-inch 480×360 glass display that has a clickable surface like real buttons, a 3.2 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash, 1GB internal memory, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Storm is bundled 8GB microSD card slot. It can do also automatic orientation, like the iPhone, and Copy-and-paste that iPhone cannot offer. Now, this isn't one of those all-about-email BlackBerry reviews where the 9500 Storm gets only compared to its own kind, for the lack of meaningful competition. We are more than confident that the Storm does its BlackBerry thing just fine, so instead of focusing on it we'll try to give a different view of the device. Our objective is to see how it fares against all those other "regular" touchscreens that have the crowd's attention: Apples, Renoirs, Omnias, Diamonds and the likes. The first thing about the Storm 9500 is the attempt to reach beyond the core group of diehard BlackBerry users. We're talking stealing some market here, so if Blackberry are playing to win, they should well be ready to take some hard beating too. First-rate email is nice and all, but the Storm will only be as good as its user interface and multimedia.
